so I usually make videos about maps and international stuff but as you all can see lately i've been diving into all sorts of different topics (NFTs, icecream makers, shampoo). The reality is that I make my videos based on what is genuinely fascinating me at any moment. I'm glad you are all here along with me on this wild ride of trying to understand how things work. lots more stuff to come! -Johnny

Well shampoo comes from Hindi word "champi" for oil ; Just use a healthy sparse layer of coconut oil, rub your scalp and take a shower , no dandruff, no flaky dry skin.

Use a bit of vinegar to soften up ya hair, works like a charm, it will feel just like conditioner. FYI it will burn the first few times using it. that will go way over time.

First off fantastic video. But I do want to add that H&S products do have "things" in it that helps against dandruff. Why I believe this is true is because "Veritasium (a very reliable source of information here on YT)" made a video (sponsored but still) about H&S and I'm fairly sure he would not lie or misinformed people. Just some food for thought. Again, love the video. :)

At around 9:30 i realised i didn't use shampoo coz i had to refill my small shampoo bottle from the humongous big bottle😂😂 3+ weeks, actually i only dry scalp now, my dandruff has actually disappeared! It's incredible, i remember thinking for a few days where's my dandruff, i haven't been shampooing 😂 i really love this concept! What are things do we not need😱 Not kidding, this is actually my situation! And I'm from India, during possibly the hottest summer of my life! Sometimes i run residue soap through my hair but i don't take it to scalp, clean your hair, and not the scalp!

Yup, didn’t work for me. Spent 6 months with greasy hair waiting for the oil production to calm down which it never did. Washed with water only, and didn’t have any bad smell. Would be amazing though if we could normalize slightly greasy hair so people didn’t feel the need to wash their hair every day just because of social pressure

I learnt about this hair oil cycle you talk about when Iwas studying advertising. Our lecturer broke the truth to us, and he said "thats the power of advertising, it makes you believe that only shampoo will make you beautiful and happy. The core message of advertising is to convince the audience that your life will only be complete by having this product"

I havent used shampoo in about 5-6yrs either. I was shampooing every day in winter and twice a day most days during summer as it would get greasy so quickly, then I had to go out to a remote spot for a month long project with work and I forgot to bring shampoo. Needless to say my hair got disgustingly greasy and when I got back the first thing I did was shampoo, but after that it just didn't really become greasy again so I decided to stop using shampoo for good, as it was definately causing my scalp to overproduce oils. I've told a few people but most just get weirded out by it, like I'm saying I've given up showering altogether.. so I just keep it to myself now, but not 1 person has said my hair looks oily since then and I also have less dandruff

I've always admired the contents and nature of this channel mate, you're doing well. All hell breaks loose after just a few days of decrease in the value of major crypto currencies, a lot of us keep forgetting that crypto is obviously exposed to a volatile market setting, though am 100% sure that cryptos would go up on a long run cause new investors keep turning to crypto as investment resort. Though personally a seasoned trader would agree with me that a trader earns big regardless of the price of the crypto currencies, plus a dip in price equally represents opportunity towards acquiring equities towards gainful trading, Mr. R.o.b.e.r.t S.t.e.v.e.n C.l.a.r.k.e, a firm trading expert has been far more than a trading mentor to me, he has been the main reason for the successes I've been recording under my personal trading sessions, his signal services remain unmatched when compared to other traders I've worked with. For trading related concern Mr. R.o.b.e.r.t S.t.e.v.e.n C.l.a.r.k.e can be reached on telegram {@robertstevenclarke} or on What's-app {+ 1=2=0=2=8=0=4=6=0=9=4}.A trader is opportunistic, lets not sleep on the benefits these crypto currencies offer.

Hey Johnny, can you do a segment on "Mail Fishing?" I put a bunch of packages (with tracking numbers) into one of those blue Post Office collection boxes overnight. Over the next few days I kept looking at the tracking info and nothing was showing up. My packages never made it into the system. I initially thought a Post Office employee stole my packages from the collection box, but after doing some digging I realized some random thief off the street "Mail Fish" inside the blue box and stole my packages. More people need to know about Mail Fishing and how average citizens are getting their checks stolen and bank accounts ruined by using the blue collection boxes.

You don't use shampoo for your hair its for your scalp. If you don't produce enough oil to clog your pores and hair follicles then I don't think shampoo is very important for you. Brushing your hair or rubbing your scalp and tugging on the follicles is also I good way to clear any oil, dirt, or debris that may be stuck in the follicles. When follicles become clogged they die and don't produce hair anymore causing baldness. Also shampoo is just a detergent you can use the same bar of soap or body wash you use for the rest of your body on your scalp as well. I actually think one of the most important things males with short hair should do is dry their hair with a towel and vigorous rubbing as this will clear most of your pores and follicles without any shampoo or soap.

I shower and clean my hair every day rinsing them with warm water and their not oily or dry or anything, they feel great. I'm a big advocate for the method and I believe the whole hair care and body cleansing industries are a bit blown of the top and over rated. Shampoo was invented before household shower plumbing became common. People used washcloths, sponges, and towels to wash themselves. Then they would occasionally take a bath by either soaking in a tub or pouring water over themselves while standing in a tub. Hair got excessively greasy because people didn't have an effective way of washing it on a regular basis. The fact is that doing a good rinsing of your hair every time you take a shower can clean it equally well with or without shampoo. The difference is that without shampoo, you will not be damaging your hair.

Gross!! Jk. But I like my hair looking amazing. Unfortunately it doesn’t look as amazing without using my sea salt spray or dry shampoo. The unnatural route looks much better for me and I do care about the looks as should everyone. But ultimately genetics are important. Same with hair loss. I would rather take a drug to save my hair then go bald “naturally”. Natural isn’t always the way to go. Just way your options people.

Water is a solvent. If you wash your hair occasionally (or often) with water, the solvent, water, will clean it. Soaps and shampoos work by making your hair (or hands, or body) slippery so the solvent (water) is more effective. You can even wash your clothes just with water. Adding detergent just makes the water more effective. If you have healthy, normal skin, washing with water is fine.....ish. Except places with bateria buildup really do need some soap.... to help get rid of the dirt and bacteria. If you have skin problems, then using soaps and shampoos can be either good or bad. Some people do need to strip oils to avoid irritation. Other people will benefit more by not stripping oils. So there is no hard and fast rule either way. Johnny is obviously fine with no shampoo or soap and less washing. But.....that is just Johnny.

I stopped using shampoo a few years ago. I found that my usual warm shower will remove any excess hair oil. I just need to let the water run through my hair a few times (just like shampooing but without the shampoo). My hair looks and feels better than ever now that it is no longer being tortured by unnatural chemicals. Also, I used to have a problem with getting dandruff. But it hasn’t happened since I stopped using shampoo.

I used to wash my hair every single day, and while I never had a dry flaky scalp, or dandruff, I did have really dry hair for the majority of the day. I'm glad that I stopped washing so much.
